maybe some -dev packages were not installed? e.g, "Intrinsic.h" would be provided by the "libxt-dev" package in debian. maybe similiar packages exists for suse10. also, vice tries to compile for gtk1.x, suse10 sure comes with gtk2, I assume. there's an experimental patch for gtk2 though...

maybe the compiler coming with suse10 (gcc3? gcc4?)
is "too new" for vice. I'd try gcc-2.95 if the errors persist.
